Snoring is caused by the collapse of weak muscle tissue at the back of the mouth into the pharyngeal airway during sleep. As air is forced through the constricted passage, the tissue vibrates and creates snoring. A growing amount of evidence shows that not only are dental devices effective in eliminating or reducing snoring, they can also prevent the more serious condition known as obstructive sleep apnea.

SnorNoMor increases the size of the pharyngeal airway by repositioning the mandible and holding the lower jaw forward during sleep. In this way, breathing can continue unobstructed even after someone is asleep and the muscle tissue at the back of the mouth is relaxed.
